After the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, one can not just sit back and not contribute to aid the people of our beloved islands of Puerto Rico, Culebra and Vieques.
This is a grassroots effort to encourage people, especially those of the diaspora, to consider adopting a family in any way they can to help them recuperate and move forward after the devastating blows to their homes, lives and wellbeing. Let’s all be part of the rebuilding of our families and aid them in whichever way we can to move forward. What a great way to “pay it forward”. We’ll be adding ideas and suggestions for people to do.

Family – Adopting a family in need from the town of your choice
Cause or Affinity– Adopting a family in need with a cause or affinity close to you (i.e., autism, cancer, diabetes, music, pets, art, etc)
School – Adopting a classroom in a school in Puerto Rico, Culebra or Vieques – You choose the grade and town

Despues de la devastación causada por los huracanes Irma y Maria, uno no puede quedarse con los brazos cruzados y no contribuir a la ayuda de nuestra querida gente de Puerto Rico, Culebra y Vieques.
Este es un esfuerzo individual de inspirar a la gente, en especial los de la diaspora, a considerar adoptar una familia en la manera que puedan, para ayudarles a recuperar y mirar hacia el futuro, despues del golpe devastador que han tenido hacia sus hogares, sus vidas y su bienestar. Vamos todos a ser parte de esta reconstruccion familiar y ayudarles en la manera que nos sea posible. Que mejor manera de “pay it forward”. Estaremos colocando mas info y sugerencias pronto.
